The theme of this year’s Mental Health Awareness week was ‘Relationships’ and the importance of friends and family.
We were delighted to be joined by colleagues and friends from Churches Action for The Homeless (CATH), Perth and Kinross Association of Voluntary Service, and The Social Prescribing Team at UK SMART Recovery in a social media challenge. CATH thought it would be a fun to sing the theme tune from Friends TV series by breaking it into parts and passing each verse and chorus to a different organisation.
Each day of the week, a part of the song was posted by each of us on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter. Great idea, great fun and a great way to raise awareness for mental health.
