Sessional worker and volunteer needed for BOOST boys group

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Sessional Worker and volunteer to work with the BOOST Boys group (11 – 16yrs) on a Wednesday evening from 4.00pm-7.30pm. The Boost group provides on-going support for young males who are affected by substance use and/or anti-social behaviour.

The group meets weekly during term time in the Dundee TCA building (The Wishart). The main purpose of the group is to engage young people in positive activities while providing a safe, secure and structured environment. The young people who attend can get creative with arts and crafts, project work, youth issues or take part in playing more sedate card or board games. Other activities include Wii, local visits, out for tea, outdoor sports, some indoor activities and an annual summer programme.

The role of the Sessional Worker and Volunteer is to encourage participation in activities and take part in activities with the young people in attendance. If you are interested in becoming a member of the Boost Team please get in touch with Fergus or Mark on 01382 456 012 or email /

This post is only open to existing TCA staff and volunteers. The posts also require access to and use of a car and the hours for these roles will be 3.5 hours per week.
