The Boost group attended a residential at Abernethy Ardeonaig during the second week of the Easter holidays. There were five young people and two members of staff. We arrived at around noon and were shown around the grounds before participating in our first event which involved various team building activities. This proved to be a positive activity where the young people worked as team through communicating their thoughts and supporting one another to complete the task.
On the second day of the residential the groups goals were to work in teams and complete a range of orienteering tasks. This task also challenged the group and again they worked closely as a unit to complete the task. The residential turned out to be a positive bonding session for the group, there were no issues from anybody and the everybody had lots of fun and great time with some of them suggesting that this may be an activity as part of the summer programme.
